Definition
Total and permanent loss of muscle function to the whole of at least two limbs as a result of injury or disease of the brain, spinal cord or peripheral nerves.
Claim Requirements
- Total loss of muscle function
- Whole of at least two limbs affected
- Due to brain, spinal cord or peripheral nerve damage
- Permanent condition
Exclusions
- Partial paralysis
- Single limb paralysis
